Laura was born and raised in Muskoka, on the Green River. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors, whether it be running, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, camping, canoeing or kayaking. She is also very involved in music and plays in a duo named Petra with her father. She sings, plays the guitar and the djembe (traditional African drum). They are currently touring around the Muskokas, as well as different markets, venues and festivals in Midland, Penetanguishene, Wawa, Orillia and Barrie areas.
She has been in the pharmaceutical field for 3 years and has built a passion in contributing in healthcare. This passion has led her to Queenan Family Medicine and Maternity Care, where she took on the role of office manager in April 2019. She is very excited for her new role in this practice. Laura is fluent in both French and English. She aspires to become a Nurse Practitioner in the future, to continue her desire to advocate, support and aid her patients.
